Honeybear Helicopters works in association with Rocky Mountain Rotorcraft (RMR) (www.rockymountainrotorcraft.com), the Rocky Mountain, Enstrom Helicopter sales and service center based in Erie, Colorado at Erie Tri-County Airport. Gates L. Scott is a commercial pilot for RMR and handles sales and marketing for RMR.
(RMR) is a unique partnership of professionals dedicated to helicopter flight training, sales, and service with an emphasis on Enstrom Helicopters. RMR was formed after years of flying, teaching and aircraft sales in the Rocky Mountain Region. We were looking for a line of helicopters that were reasonable to acquire and operate that would safely perform in Colorado's demanding mountain environment. Through flying numerous helicopters we became convinced Enstrom helicopters were the best choice and began to operate an Enstrom 280FX Shark.
Honeybear Helicopters is not a Part 135 charter operation, however refers all flights under this flight regulation to a wide variety of partners throughout the region. These carriers offer VIP pick up and transportation virtually anywhere, from express pick-up and drop-off from airport to airport, to middle-of-nowhere jobsite transportation. These partners operate immaculate fleets of aircraft that include Bell 206L, Bell 206B, and Eurocopter helicopters based regional airports throughout the state of Colorado.
